Temporary Office Manager
Applications are invited for the above position. The successful applicant will work as head of a team of Administrators in a diagnostic support role. Compliance with Good Laboratory Practice and ISO 17025 will be required at all times.
This position is available on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience of managing a small team of people and office to bring his or her skills and knowledge to bear in an enthusiastic manner to help a small company grow. The position will be available for approximately 9-12 months starting in January 2008.
Duties will include: responsibility for the day to day functions of the office, including allocation of staff duties, and ensuring compliance with all quality standards. The position includes line management responsibility for up to 5 staff. You will also be required to invoice all sales work on a bi-monthly basis ensuring all customers are correctly charged.
Hours are based on a 40 hour week between the times of 8am-6pm with some flexibility in working hours possible.
